It has been 250 years since the Battle of Prophet’s Pass, and today the community of humans still exists, although no longer prisoners of war after their descendents gained a posthumous pardon for their crimes 160 years after their capture. They exist today as miners and craftsmen, although still treated as second class citizens, and are restricted to the restored town of Prophet’s Pass when not working. Conditions for them are harsh, they not legally allowed to own land or start a family without consent from the town’s administrators, but they are well fed and have security few other humans have in the world outside.
Although human forces did return many times over the years they were never successful at breaching the newly Great Gate, now remade to be larger and stronger then ever before. After many years of trying the Human forces eventually stopped coming, their commanders despairing at the cost of funding such a long range campaign. Not long after the attacks ceased envoys were sent, and peace was declared between the lands of men and Werewolves despite their restricted ability to communicate. Limited visitors were now allowed into the land for trading purposes (Although the Diamond currency is never used in trade, as the People of Salvagard knew that even the smallest unit of their currency was far too expensive for any goods they received from the outside world). Instead they traded goods. These ranged from furs of rare creatures to finely made golden jewellery, metal weaponry and even local ales. Although trade is welcome, outsiders are also restricted to Prophet’s Pass for safety reasons, preventing them from scouting the kingdom for their respective empires or plotting another invasion.
Today the Kingdom stands as it has for over 1800 years, proud of its heritage and free from the influences of mankind.
